New: per-class capacity limits

Not every classroom has the same capacity. Resource rooms, inclusion classes, and co-taught sections often need fewer students. Until now, Shibutz applied the same global cap to every class. That changes today with per-class capacity limits.

What's new

  • Per-class max students: set an individual student limit on any class. Classes without a custom limit still use the global default from Assignment Settings.
  • Capacity overflow warnings:the Constraint Health panel now alerts you if total class capacity can't fit all your students, before you generate.
  • Class notes: add optional notes to any class (room numbers, session times, co-teacher names) visible directly in the class list.

Getting started

Open your dashboard, navigate to any yearly class, and head to the Classes tab. Edit any class to set a per-class capacity. For the full setup guide, see the Classes documentation.
